      Mrs. Kizzie Oxley, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Oct 17, 1974

      Mrs. Kizzie Oxley, 73, of Many, died in Many on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at8:05 p.m., following an extended illness.

      Mrs. Oxley is survived by two sons, J. C. Oxley, Jonesville; and HarlandOxley, Panama Canal Zone; three brothers, Ed Knippers, Robeline; TomKnippers, and Curtis Knippers, Both of Many; three
      sisters, Mrs. Nora Manasco, Robeline; Mrs. Effie Varnado, and Mrs. EthelHoward, both of Many; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

      Funeral services were held at the Trinity Baptist Church on Friday, Oct.11, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Glen Lanier, the Rev. Brent Fleming, andthe Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiating.

      Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of the WarrenMeadows Funeral Home.
