15 Apr 1955 - Funeral services for George W. Rials, 90, who passed awayat 5:40 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, at the home of his daughter, Mrs.Florence Lefeat was conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at theVowells Mill Baptist church with Rev. E. E. Dees officiating. Intermentwas in Cebran Cemetery under
the direction of Rockett Funeral Home of Coushatta.
Mr. Rials was a retired farmer and merchant of Natchitoches and Sabineparish.
He was born in Hazelhurst, Miss. He came to Natchitoches and settled atVowells Mill at the age of 16. Lived there until 10 years ago when hemoved to Many and later was forced to retire because of ill health.
Survivors include: Three daughters, Mrs. Florence Lefeat of Many, Mrs.Annie Geter of Longview, Texas; Mrs. Nora Harrison of Baton Rouge; fivesons, John, Provencal; C. A., Jack and Ben, Many; C. M. of Beaumont; twosisters, Mrs. Betty Gandy, Mrs. Dollie Graham, 27 grandchildren and 44great-grandchildren.
