Funeral services for Mr. Self were held in the Provencal PentecostalChurch, at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 15, with Bro. Lane, and Bro. EldonReeves officiating. Burial followed in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Serviceswere under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. He is survived by four sisters, Agnes Brown, Opelousas, Ruby McDaniel,Metairie, Mamie Moss, Metairie, and Nancy Dawson, New Orleans; and a hostof nieces and nephews.
