Mrs. Edna Lester, 76, of Many, died in Many, Thursday, Jan. 8, at 11:15p.m., following an extended illness.
Survivors include eight sons, Creed Lester, Charles Lester, and RobertLester, all of Many; C. O. Lester of Shreveport, Lawrence Lester ofKeithville, Daniel Lester of White Oak, Tex., Bradley Lester ofKnoxville, Tenn., and J. C. Lester of Augusta, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs.Barbara Flury of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Joyce Bentley of Shreveport; abrother, Bill DeKeyzer of Groves, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Inez McCormick ofMany; 27 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the St. John Catholic Church on Saturday,Jan. 10, at 2 p.m. Father Gustave Bergeron officiated. Burial was in theSt. John Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Frank Lester, Dennis Lester, John Bentley, David Lester,Larry Lester, and Carl Lester.
