      Ferdinand DeKeyzer, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, La., Feb 4, 1938

      4 Feb 1938 - Funeral services for Ferdinand DeKeyzer, age 81 years, whodied at his home here Sunday night, Jan. 30 at 9:45, were held at St.John's Catholic church Monday afternoon at 3:30. Interment was in theCatholic cemetery with the Rev. J. A. Benoit officiating.

      Mr. DeKeyzer was born in Belgium and came to this country while a youngman. He was married to Miss Julia DeLatin in the year of 1891 and tothis union six children were born.

      He is survived by his wife; two sons, P. F. DeKeyzer of Many and W. H.DeKeyzer of Port Arthur, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. W. W. Martin, Mrs.J. C. Lester and Mrs. O. J. McComic of Many, and Mrs. J. C. VanHess ofPort Arthur, Texas; 30 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

      The pallbearers were six of the deceased's grandsons. They were: J. C.and L. C. Lester, Richard and Robert Van Hess, and Marvin and MilburnMartin.
