Miss Ona Gandy, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Jan 2, 1959 Last rites for Miss Ona Gandy, age 67, who passed away at a Shreveporthospital Saturday, Dec. 27, were conducted at Middle Creek Baptist Churchat 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 29. Rev. Johnny Rhodes officiated, assisted by Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, andinterment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of WarrenFuneral Home. Survivors are three brothers, W. E. Gandy of Leesville, J. M. Gandy ofMany, and Elmer Gandy of Orange, Tex.; two sisters, Misses Nora and MaeGandy, both of Many; five nephews; and five nieces. Pallbearers were nephews, Oscar Gandy, Milton Gandy, Max Gandy, LelandGandy, J. D. Cox, and Ray Dowden.
