Burial was in Middle Creek cemetery. Survivors are wife, Mrs. Mettie Canady, Florien; three sons, Tom andOscar Canady of Groves, Texas, and Othar Canady of Maplewood, daughters,Mrs. Malva Richards of Florien, Mrs. Ruby Ferguson and Mrs. Gladys Hebertboth of Port Arthur, Mrs. Myra Caldwell and Mrs. Jerry Hester of Groves,May Stevens of Houston and 16 grandchildren.
