Funeral services for Mr. William Edward Gandy of Florien, are being heldThursday, October 6, 1983, at 11 a.m., at Castor Baptist Church. Burialwill be at Castor Cemetery. Bros. Morris Dale Goins, and Clarence Welchofficiated. Services are under the direction of Warren Meadows FuneralHome.
Mr. Gandy died Tuesday, October 4, at Sabine Medical Center in Many. Hewas 94 years of age.
Mr. Gandy is survived by three sons, Oscar E. Gandy of Florien, Milton G.Gandy, David M. Gandy, both of Shreveport; two daughters, Jewel Cavanaughof Florien, Ruth Veuleman of Many; one brother, Elmer Gandy of Many; onesister, Mae Gandy of Many; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and6 great-great grandchildren
