      Funeral services for Curtis C. Leach Sr., 84, of Shreveport, were held at11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 12, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, MarshallStreet Chapel.

      Dr. James Taylor of Highland Baptist Church officiated. Burial was inCenturies Memorial Park Cemetery.

      Mr. Leach died Thursday, at Highland Hospital, after a long illness.

      A native of Florien, he had resided in Shreveport for the past 30 years,and was a retired civil service emloyee at Barksdale Air Force Base. Hewas a veteran of World War I.

      He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Florien, and was a merchant inFlorien before moving to Shreveport.

      Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nellie Ballard Leach; two sons, CurtisC. Leach Jr. of Shreveport, and Bobby Lee Leach of Corpus Christi, Tex.;and five grandchildren
