Mrs. I. Drue Leach, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Jul 26, 1935

26 Jul 1935 - Page 8 - The death angel visited the home of N. F. Leach onMay 13, and took from him his wife, Mrs. I. Drue Leach, who was bornNovember 19, 1862, and was married to N. F. Leach Dec. 4, 1879. To thisunion were born five children, one dead, and four living. Aunt Drue wasa member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist church since early life. AuntDrue, as she was known by her many friends, had been in poor health forseveral years. Mid her sufferings and afflictions she was the sunshineof her home; her cheerful smiles and her kind words were the veryexpression of a godly character. Not only was she kind and cheerful toall whom she came in contact with, but she loved her Saviour in realityand expressed a desire to depart and be with Him. Nevertheless she had amother's love for her children and husband but she had no desire to liveand be a burden to those whom she loved. To know her was to love her.Father and children, weep not for your mother but comfort one anotherwith these words, "That when the Lord returns with the redeemed one, among this number will be your Mother, so
prepare to meet her when she come. By one who loved her, W. G. Bailey.
