      Mrs. Oma Busby Leach, 97, died June 3, 2000. She was born Oct. 25, 1902in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She was a member of Prospect United MethodistChurch in Florien.

      Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 5 at Warren MeadowsFuneral Home Chapel in Many with interment following at the FlorienCemetery. Dr. Bill Boyd officiated.

      Survivors include three daughters, Louise Davis of Many, June Martin ofCoushatta and Doris Daquila of McComb, Miss.; three sons, Lester Leachand Jimmy Leach, both of Florien and Mark Leach of Monroe; one stepson,Floyd Leach of Yucaipa, Calif; 15 grandchildren; and 22 greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Leach was preceded in death by her husband, M V.Leach; one son, Dan G. Leach, Sr.; one daughter, Coda Wright; and onestep-daughter, Mavis Dowden.

      Pallbearers were her grandsons.
