      On Jan. 31, 1994, at 4:10 a.m., Mr. Eddie J. Knippers, 92, passed away atSabine Medical Center in Many.

      He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gracie Moss Knippers of Robeline; threesons, Herbert Knippers, Charles Knippers, and Larry Knippers, all ofMany; two daughters, Glenda Thaxton, and Connie Carroll, both ofRobeline; two sisters, Ethel Howard of Many, and Effie Varnado of Ruston;eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

      Services were at Friendship Church of the Nazarene, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m.Rev. Daniel Mappus, and Rev. Vernon Cargill officiated. Burial was atFriendship Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.

      Pallbearers were Gerald Knippers, Benny Knippers, Thelton Wall, RickyLemoine, Jimmy Bray, and Spencer Faust.
