Services were held in the Middle Creek Baptist Church on Thursday, July4, at 4 p.m. Burial was in the Middle Creek Cemetery. Rev. LeRoy Chanceofficiated the ceremony. The funeral was under the direction of theWarren Meadows Funeral Home. Surviving relatives included his mother, Mrs. Wilma Poynter of Many; onebrother, Mr. Phillip Franklin Poynter of Dallas, Tex.; one sister, Mrs.Wilma Joycelyn Willard of Mesquite, Tex.; and a host of uncles, aunts,nieces, and nephews.
