25 Feb 1944 - Last rites for Mrs. Sallie Lewis, age 54 years, were heldat 11 o'clock Sunday at the Lewing cemetery near Fisher. Rev. W. V. Neillof Many Nazarene church officiated. Interment was in Lewing cemeteryunder the direction of Dennis-Green funeral home.
Mrs. Lewis passed away at the family home near Florien Saturday after abrief illness. Surviving are husband, A. C. Lewis; five children, oneson, J. C. Lewis, four daughters, Mrs. W. C. Warmack, Mrs. Irene Eason,Mrs. Hoy Leach, and Mrs. Elmer Berel; three brothers, Allen, Sam and JehuLewing; one sister, Mrs. A. W. Knippers, and eight grandchildren.
