Services for Cora Marie Cobb Muse, 79, of Campti, were held at 2 p.m.,Oct. 3, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints inNatchitoches, with State President Kenneth Dutile officiating. Burialfollowed in Memory of Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches.
Mrs. Muse died Oct. 1, 2002, in LaSalle General Hospital at Jena. She wasa native of Many, and a former resident of Logansport. She was ahomemaker, and owner and operator of a private kindergarten. She was amember of the Natchitoches Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter DaySaints, and the Relief
Society of the church, band boosters of Logansport High School, andWomen's Auxiliary of American Legion. She was an avid seamstress, and didneedle work.
Survivors include one son, Raymond Perry Muse and wife Linda of Chireno,Texas; five daughters, Janis M. Braud of Jena, Lina M. Prudhomme, andSarah L. Martin and her husband Glenn of
Natchitoches, Melissa M. Trammell and husband Travis of Campti, Mona M.Bamburg and husband Marty of Coushatta; one sister, Theresa Ward ofSlidell; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ira Muse; parents,Eddie and Lina Wagley Cobb; sister, Lucille Cobb; brother, Ray Cobb; andgreat granddaughter, Jane Elisabeth Methvin.
Pallbearers were Raymond P. Muse II, Cody Muse, John H. Baud, MattPrudhomme, Travis I. Trammell III, Coleman Miller Martin II, and RichardL. Trammell. Honorary pallbearers were sons-in-law, Travis I. TrammellII, Marshall W. Bamburg II, and Glenn Douglas Martin.
