Mr. Slay Sr. was a sales manager forFrank Wholesale, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Marine Veteran,WWII, and member of the V. F. W. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lou Slay of Shreveport; two sons, DennisO. Bovett, and Alfred Alvin Slay Jr., of Shreveport; three daughters,Judy Anderson of Bossier City, Linda Lee, and Grace Hill of Shreveport;six sisters, Carrie Westbrook, Linda Pynes, Maude Thedford, Allie Sirman,Lee Wagley, and Louise Wagley, all of Many, LA; and five grandchildren;and numerous nieces and nephews.
