      Mrs. Ora Weldon, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, May 4, 1972

      Mrs. Ora Weldon, 73, of Mt. Carmel, died Saturday, April 29, at 9:15a.m., after an extended illness.

      Surviving relatives are one son, Ray Weldon of Florien; three daughters,Mrs. Fay Floyd of Pineland, Tex., Mrs. Etna Casula of Laurel, Md., andMrs. Ginny Edwards of Lake Charles; four brothers, Monroe, and RoySkinner of Florien, Jeff Skinner of Coushatta; seven sisters, Cora Smith,Elta Wyatt, Exie Anderson, Melva Curry, Iberia Mothershed, and BessieWeldon, all of Florien, and Mrs. Pearlie Dupree of Logansport; 18grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

      Funeral services were held Monday, May 1, at 2 p.m., in the Mt. CarmelBaptist Church, with the Rev. Phil Tisdell, and the Rev. Mack Bristerofficiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the
      direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

      Pallbearers were Phillip Weldon, Ernest Jessup, Lynn Weldon, ChrisCasula, Pat Casula, and Jimmy Jessup.
