      E. E. Weldon, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, May 21, 1970

      E. E. Weldon, 75, of Florien, died at 7:20 a.m. Sunday, May 17, after ashort illness.

      He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ora Weldon of Florien; three daughters,Mrs. Faye Floyd of Pineville, Mrs. Etna Casula of Laurel, Md.; and Mrs.Jinny Edwards of Leesville; 18 grandchildren and eightgreat-grandchildren.

      Mr. Weldon had another daughter, Mrs. Doris Jessup, deceased.

      Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, in the Mt. CarmelBaptist Church, with the Rev. J. C. Edwards and the Rev. Avon Kavanaughofficiating. The body was taken to the church at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, tolie in state until service time. Burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, underthe direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

      Pallbearers were Mr. Weldons grandsons.
