Mable Tynes Mitchell, Sabine, Vernon Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Sep17, 1981 Funeral services were held for Mable Tynes Mitchell, Tuesday, Sept. 15,at the Prewitt's Chapel Baptist Church, at 2 p.m., with Rev. GlenFlenniken officiating. Interment was at the Prewitt's Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Mitchell of Hornbeck, died Monday, Sept. 14, at 8 a.m., inAlexandria, following a short illness. She was 82. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lois Yates of Anacoco, Mrs.Delenith Monk of Houston, Mrs. Judy West of Houston, and Mrs. JohnnieSpears of Natchitoches; five sons, Hoy Mitchell, and Harvey Mitchell,both of Hornbeck, Henry Haywood Mitchell, and Harold Mitchell, both ofAnacoco, and Jerry Mitchell of Hornbeck; 17 grandchildren; and 19 greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Mitchell laid in state at the home of Mrs. Lois Yates, before thefuneral services were held.
