Betty Salter Mandina, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, May 28, 1948 28 May 1948 - Mrs. Betty Lou Salter Mandina, age 21, died at Frasersanitarium Monday after a very brief illness. Funeral rites wereconducted at First Baptist church, Many at 3 p.m. Tuesday by Rev. J. D.Scott, assisted by Rev. C. W. Williams and Rev. Charles S. Miers. Pallbearers were: J. T. Dees, Jr., Milton Hall, Ralph Ward, WillieWilliams, Keith Jackson, John Blake, Jr., and Jack LaFitte. Interment was under direction Massingill funeral home. Surviving relatives include, husband, Capt. G. J. (Tommy) Mandina, CampHood, Texas; parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. F.
