      Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Murray, 74, of Florien, who passed awayFeb. 5, after a brief illness, were held Feb. 7, in the Pine GroveBaptist Church, with the Rev. E. C. Browning, and the Rev. Robert Grahamofficiating.

      Interment was in Kisatchie Cemetery, under the direction of WarrenMeadows Funeral Home of Many.

      She is survived by a son, William Leslie Murray of Maplewood; threedaughters, Mrs. W. F. Herrington, and Mrs. Dan Volk, both of Florien, andMrs. Allan Browning of Leesville; three sisters, Mrs. R. H. Tynes ofFlorida, Mrs. L. T. Dixon of Coushatta, and Mrs. Columbus Rice of DryProng; two brothers, M. J. Simmons of St. Cloud, Fla., and Don Simmons ofAtlanta, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
