Mrs. Mattie Bell Matthews, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Sep 21,1962 Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Bell Matthews, age 84, who passed awaySept. 15, were conducted at Middle Creek Baptist Church at 4 p.m., Sept.16, with Rev. Monroe Roberts officiating. Interment was in the churchcemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home. Survivors are three sons, Allen, and Jessie, both of Florien, Luther ofGoodpine; daughter, Mrs. Ida Weldon of Florien; brother, George Bell ofMany; four grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
