      Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn (Evia) Rebecca Ebarb, 87, were held at10 a.m., August 1, 1995, at Lakeview Baptist Church.

      Officiating was the Rev. Freddie Hippler. Interment was in DarnellCemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

      Mrs. Ebarb died July 30, in DeSoto General Hospital.

      Mrs. Ebarb was born December 9, 1907, in Noble, to Rosie Lafitte andJoseph Sepulvado. Mrs. Ebarb married Ira Ebarb Sr., July 6, 1928, inHemphill, Texas.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Ebarb Sr.

      Survivors include three daughters, Alda M. Jerles of Humble, Texas,Catherine Smith of Vidor, Texas, and Jeanine Spiegel of Wichita, Kan.;four sons, Joe Ebarb of Johnson City, LA, Earl Ebarb, Ira Ebarb Jr., andSilas Ebarb, all of Noble; one sister, Mary Procell of Noble; 28grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren;and a host of nieces and nephews.
