Thursday, March 21, 1940 WILLIAM RHOADES, WELL KNOWN PIONEER, DIES William A Rhoades, 86 years of age, farmer of this community died atBower in Pittsburg county, a few miles south of Eufaula Thursday of lastweek. Funeral services conducted by the Kelley Funeral home were held at theBower school building Friday. Burial was in the Bower cemetery. Survivors include a son, Walter Rhoades of near Fame and a number ofgrandchildren and other relatives
