Services for Myrtle Ezernack Martinez were held at 10 a.m., Saturday,August 28th, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Leesville, with theFather Henry Becker officiating. Burial followed in the St. JosephCemetery in Zwolle, under the direction of the Beauregard-Vernon FuneralHome of Leesville, LA
Mrs. Martinez, 81, of Leesville, died at 11:16 a.m., in the Lake CharlesMemorial Hospital.
Mrs. Martinez was a native of Zwolle, LA She was a past president of theLeesville, PTA, founding member of the Legion of Mary, a charter memberof Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and a Civil Service board member for 11years.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph L. Martinez of Leesville, LA, andJohn R. Martinez of Long Beach, Calif.; one daughter, Paula Edwards ofTyler, Tex.; six brothers, Julius Ezernack of Arlington, Tex., NathanEzernack of Natchitoches, LA, Mark Ezernack of Zwolle, LA, MarionEzernack of Lucedale, Miss., Thomas Ezernack of Shreveport, LA, andDexter Ezernack of San Diego, Calif.; seven randchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.
Visitation was from 8 - 9:30 a.m., Saturday, and Rosary services were at6:30 p.m., Friday, in the funeral home.
