Mrs. Bertha Byrd, Sabine, Natchitoches Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA,Mar 4, 1966 Mrs. Bertha Byrd, 62, died in her home in Vowels Mill Monday, Feb. 28,after an extended illness. Survivors are her husband, T. J. Byrd of Vowels Mill; two sons, Huey P.Byrd of Vowels Mill, and Herman Byrd of Columbia; four daughters, ClaraRhodes of Gatesville, Tex., Doris Bynog of Shreveport, Clovis JeanWhitehead of Natchitoches, and Glendogayle Fenison of Beaumont, Tex.;three half brothers, C. D. Tynes of Seminole, Texas, James Tynes ofShreveport, and C. V. Tynes of Cypress; one sister, Bertie Butty ofOrange, Tex.; four half sisters, Mrs. Daniel Dees of Many, Mrs. VeraHoneycutt of Robeline, Mrs. Floyd Mitchell, and Mrs. Velma Pleasant, both ofNatchitoches; 22 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Services were held in the New Cedran Baptist Church, Tuesday, March 1, at2:30 a.m., with the Bro. A. P. Murphy of Alexandria, and Bro. DonMcCormick of Alexandria, officiating. Burial was in the Cedran Cemetery,under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many
