Funeral services for James O. Pantalion, 92, were held Tuesday, March 26,1996, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following atMiddle Creek Cemetery.
Rev. Doug Hilton officiated, assisted by Rev. Glenn Flenniken, and Rev.H. H. Tibbitts.
Mr. Pantalion died Sunday, March 24, 1996, after a lengthy illness.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan Tynes Pantalion; ason, James M. Pantalion; and a granddaughter, Marla Cook.
He is survived by four daughters, Vernice Matlock and husband James ofBlanchard, Verlene Ellzey and husband Victor of Hornbeck, Sue Brown andhusband Edwin of Hornbeck, Betty Landry and husband Edgar of Deweyville,Tex.; two sons, Treddis Pantalion and wife Sybil of Fisher, DougPantalion and wife
Janice of Blanchard, LA; one daughter-in-law, Frances Pantalion ofShreveport; one sister, Mary Ann Goins of Zwolle; twenty threegrandchildren; thirty five great grandchildren; and two great-greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
