      27 Apr 1956 - Last rites for W. E. Rhodes, 67, who passed away SaturdayApril 21 was conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 23 at the ProvencalPentecostal church with Rev. A. J. Dupree officiating. Interment wasunder the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

      Survivors are wife, Mrs. W. E. Rhodes of Provencal, son, William Edward,Jr., of Provencal, daughters, Mrs. R. L. Green of Minden, Gloria Jean andDarvis Ann Rhodes of Provencal, sisters, Mrs. Ruth Isgitt and Mrs. GeorgeOwens, both of Florien, Mrs. Willie Self of Provencal and Mrs. MarshallFrantom of Bellwood and two grandchildren.

      Pallbearers were Curtis Rhodes, Harve Crittenden, Bill Wester, CarrollDavis, H. M. Voigt and Eddie Sparks.
