      Funeral services for Jerry Lynn Carney, 60, of Natchitoches, were heldTuesday, July 9, 1996, at 2 p.m., at the Church of the Nazarene inNatchitoches, with Revs. Jason Powers, and Kenny Martin officiating.Interment was at Friendship Cemetery near Robeline, under the directionof Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral
      Home.

      Mr. Carney passed away Saturday, July 6, in Natchitoches Parish Hospital.He was a native of Flora, and a farm equipment mechanic. He attended theChurch of the Nazarene in Natchitoches. He was also a very loving father,Paw-Paw, and son.

      He is survived by one son, Steven Lynn Carney of Fort Recovery, Ohio; twodaughters, Tammy V. Ballet of Natchitoches, and Cyndi C. Haeuber ofSalem, Ill.; mother, Lucille M. Carney of Natchitoches; two sisters, JudyCarney Youngblood of Haynesville, Becky C. Birdwell of Marthaville; andfive grandchildren.

      Pallbearers were Doug Birdwell, Johnny Carney Jr., Jim Haeuber, ThomasDunangan, John Muckleroy, and Teddy Speir.
