      Rev. Efton Martin, 71, of Many, died on November 1, 1986, in Many.

      Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, at 2 p.m., on Nov.3, 1986, with the Reverends Dick Sawyer, and Lee Dickson officiating.Burial was in Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren MeadowsFuneral Home.

      He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Elizabeth Martin of Many; son,Mr. Efton Wayne Martin of Athens, Tex.; two brothers, Luther Martin ofShreveport, and Chester Martin of Natchitoches; three sisters, AvisBucholz of Enid, Okla., Vera Coleman of Lake Charles, and Doris Ward ofFremont, Calif.; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He waspreceded in death by Edith Jane Martin Williams.

      Pallbearers included Don Martin, James Martin Dexter Martin, DennisMartin, Carrah Lee, and Elton Roy Smith.
