      Mrs. Myrtle Corley Almon, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, La., Aug 14,1986

      Services for Mrs. Myrtle Corley Almon, 94, of Shreveport, was held at 2p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. The Rev. JerrySchmucker, pastor of First Baptist Church in Noble, where Mrs. Almon wasa member, officiated. Burial was at 4 p.m., at Zwolle Cemetery.

      Mrs. Almon, a homemaker, and a resident of Shreveport for the past 25years, died Sunday, August 10, 1986, at The Guest House, after a lengthyillness. She was born in Mt. Carmel, La., and was a former resident ofNoble.

      She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Thibodeaux, and Doris Owen ofShreveport; three grandchildren, Mike Thibodeaux, Lisa Acurio, andRichard Owen; one great grandchild, Michael Acurio,
      Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews.

      Pallbearers were her grandsons and nephews.
