2 May 1947 - Mrs. Cordelia Rhodes Ricks, age 68 years, was laid to restat Mt. Carmel 2 p.m. Wednesday of last week, following her death at thefamily home hear Florien after a short illness.
Rev. M. L. Delk, pastor Mt. Carmel church, conducted the last rites.Interment was under direction Massingill funeral home. Pallbearers wereGeorge Addison, George Neilan Addison, Harvey Thomas and her five sons.
