      Services for Clifford Artis Ricks, 67, of Boyce, were at 10 a.m.,Wednesday, May 4, in Boyce First Baptist Church, with the Rev. W. H.Efferson officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under thedirection of Hixson Bros.

      Ricks died at 5 a.m., Monday, in Schumpert Medical Center, Shreveport. Hewas a retired teacher in industrial arts at Boyce High School, andAlexandria Trade School. He was a retired Baptist minister, and a memberof First Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II in the U. S.Army.

      Survivors include his wife, Yvonne C. Ricks of Boyce; one son, Gene W.Ricks of Houston; four daughters, Sue Bordeaux, and Betty Vaughn, both ofAlexandria, Karen Ricks of Boyce, and Janice
      Breaux of Opelousas; three brothers, William Ricks of Nederland, Texas,Marcus Ricks of Port Arthur, Texas, and Cannon Ricks of Florien; onesister, Sylvian Addison of Florien; 11 grandchildren.

      The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
