Amanda Montgomery, 86, died at 4:45 a.m. Friday, September 30, 1966 inSt. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria after a long illness.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Mount Zion MethodistChurch with Rev. Sam Malone officiating. Burial was in the churchcemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Mrs. Montgomery was a native of Leesville and a member of the Mount ZionChurch.
Survivors are her husband, John T. Montgomery of Montgomery; two sons, L.H. Montgomery of Humble, Texas and W. C. Montgomery of Houston; threedaughters, Mrs. B. Shaw of Alexandria, Mrs. Woodrow Phillips and Mrs. R.R. Ward, both of Houston; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, threegreat-great grandchildren
