      BIOGRAPHY:

      Father was a Baptist minister and the first minister and

      co-founder of the

      first Baptist church in Yadkin County. It was called the "Grassy

      Knob Baptist

      Church". Rev. William Cook had been the pastor of the church on

      Dutchman's Creek

      before starting the Grassy Knob Church. (See William Cook)
