Speculation by the author of the book "Wilcoxson & Allied
Families", by
Dorothy Ford Wulford (1958), is that Isaac is probably the brother
of John,
George, & Hannah Willcockson. The four were probably children of
Daniel Willcox
who was the immigrant ancestor and died 9 Jan 1738. She believes
that Daniel's
death left minor orphans who were "bound out" as apprentices or
taken into the
homes of relatives or members of the Society of Friends. She has
studied wills,
deeds, and Orphan Court records (1685-1780) and found no proof or
any clues.
