  Genealogy originally submitted by Virginia Hubbard Reed, CMS# 1100 in April 1991. Archibald came to US in 1735; settled in Derry Township, Lancaster Co., PA. Lineage confirmed by submission of Virginia Montgomery Brookes, CMS# 2173 in April 2001. Some details changed per the Brookes submission: * Date of death changed from 1848 (highly doubtful) to 25 December 1773 and place added: Perry Township, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. Mrs. Brookes has a will that supports the 1773 date and there is also a Letter of Adminstration taken out by Martha (Campbell) Montgomery, his wife that supports this date. * Wife changed from Mary (believed to have been his unmarried daughter) to Sarah Winter, with date and place of marriage shown. * 2 additional daughters added.
