Paul Ebarb, 74, a prominent Zwolle merchant, and respected Sabine Parishcitizen, died Wednesday, April 27, after an extended illness.
A rosary was said Wednesday evening, at the Warren Meadows Funeral HomeChapel in Many. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's CatholicChurch in Zwolle, at 4 p.m., Thursday, with the Rev. Robert C. Friendofficiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction ofWarren Meadows Funeral Home.
Mr. Ebarb was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a World War veteran, acharter member of the Floyd Jordan Post 172, of the American Legion, andserved as a member of the Sabine Parish School Board for 36 years, beforehe retired. He was recently re-elected to the Zwolle City Council.
Survivors are his widow; six daughters, Mrs. Roger Loupe, Mrs. JohnnyBoudreaux, Mrs. Theo Ebarb, and Miss Vivian Ebarb, all of Zwolle, Mrs.Daniel Vergas of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Gary Bybee of
Portals, N. M.; two sisters, Mrs. George Martinez of Zwolle, and Mrs. JimYbarbo of Nacogdoches, Tex.; 17 grandchildren; and one
great grandchild.
