      Ambrose A. Oxley, 65, of Carthage, Tex., died July 19, after an extendedillness.

      He is survived by three brothers, Willie Oxley of Mansfield, Fisher Oxleyof Bellwood, and Frank Oxley of Center, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary J.Springer of DeRidder, and Mrs. Zilfie Darden of Hornbeck.

      Funeral services were in the Hickory Grove Primitive Baptist Church, July21, with the Rev. Hamp Newton officiating. Burial was in the HickoryGrove Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home ofMany.
