      19 Jan 1934 - After a long illness, J. J. Key, age 72, died at his homein Kisatchie Wednesday night and will be interred at Kisatchie cemeteryThursday afternoon at two o'clock.

      Mr. Key had spent his life in Natchitoches and Sabine parishes, where hewas well known as a most substantial and progressive citizen, prosperousfarmer and kind neighbor.

      Deceased is survived by his widow and the following children: Eddie Keyof Vernon parish; Billy Key of Zwolle; Miles Key of Alexandria; Caleb Keyof Robeline, Prof. Almon Key of Plainview, Adam Key of Many, Dennie Key,Mrs. Henry Funderburk, Mrs. Cris Funderburk, and Mrs. B. Boody ofKisatchie. He is also survived by a brother, M. C. Key of Provencal, anda sister, Mrs. I. J. Dowden.
