Notes - Information from email dated 3 Mar 2008 from "Kid Cade" (Georgie?):
* First name is Mary, not Millie as originally reported. Millie was a nickname. Apparently she has been confused with another Millie Montgomery who was born in 1846.
* Date and place of death was furnished with caveat that place may be wrong because another source says Macon County, Missouri.
* Married to Gideon Alloway Stokes in 1865 in Putnam County, Missouri after death of William Martin Montgomery. Mr. Stokes had previously been married to Martha Ann Stacy and Lucinda Jane Montgomery.
*Millie had several children, but census records are not clear - more info to follow.
