  He died from colon cancer. Additional information submitted Dec. 1998 on GEDCOM disk from Bert Lee Medley III, CMSI# 1727, 2306 Briarbrook Drive, Houston TX 77042. Starts with Walter Rolland Montgomery an ties in with information already in the file. There is a discrepancy for birthplace between Medley's submission, which says Lone Star, and the previous submission which says Big Springs, Kansas. Neither town is on the current Rand McNally Atlas. There is also a discrepancy regarding marriage date; one says 15 October and the other says 20 October. This may be the difference between the date the marriage license was issued and the actual date of the ceremony.
