Mrs. Lovenia Canady
Funeral services for Mrs. Lovenia Canady were held Monday, Jan 26, at 10a.m. in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Officiating was the Rev. J. C. Edwards, and assisting was the Rev. EarlMarr. Burial was in Ft. Jesup Cemetery under the direction of WarrenMeadows Funeral Home of Many.
Mrs. Canady, 74, of Florien, died on Jan. 24 after a short illness.
She is survived by four sons; Telton E., and Ural Canady, both of BatonRouge, Harold R., and Ellis E. Cannady, both of Leesville, threedaughters; Mrs. James Henson, and Mrs. Jim Scallan, both of Baton
Rouge, Mrs. Wallace Dowden of Port Arthur, Tex., two step-sons; JackCanady of Plain Dealing, and Louis Canady of Buna, Tex., a brother; AllenPhillips of Leesville, one sister; Mrs. Ovada Phillips of Florien, 19grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her nephews.
