      Mrs. Loza Cook, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Mar 5, 1997

      Funeral services for Mrs. Loza Cook, 83, of Florien, were held at 10a.m., on Feb. 28, 1997, at the Antioch Baptist Church.

      The Revs. Doug Chance, and Jimmy Evans officiated. Burial was in theAntioch Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

      Mrs. Cook died Feb. 26, 1997, in Florien.

      She is survived by two daughters, Jan Leach (husband Harlan), Florien,and Nelda Ketchem, Slidell; three sisters, Lovie Woodle, Melba Peace, andLona Williams, all of Many; four grandchildren;
      one great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

      Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her husband, Lumon Cook; and a
      grandson, Jeff Ketchem
