- Information added to original submission by Gloria Clarice West Southerd, CMS# 842. New submitter is Elmer T. Horne, Jr., non-member, who contacted CMSI via emails dated 19 Aug. 2003. Mr. Horne and his wife are distant cousins who both trace their lineage back to Capt. Samuel Montgomery.

BIOGRAPHY: Per an email from a non-member, Elmer Thomas Horne, Jr. dated 19 Aug 2003, Annie Montgomery and her husband, Sugar Forrest, lived and raised their children on the old Forrest homestead near Metcalfe, Thomas County Georgia, and they are buried in the Horne-Forrest cemetery located across the road from the "home place."
