Julia and Walter Armstrong were the parents of 3 daughters and 2 sons.
When first married they lived with her mother Rebecca Meeds Montgomery a year. Then they moved to the Jim Eagle (Cagle?) farm a year, then near Cornettville, IN on another farm, then to the home(|) place (Hers?) near Washington, IN, then to Edwardsport, IN for 2 years, then to Harrison Co, Ind. near New Albany one year,then back to the old home place about l7 years. They sold the farm and bought a farm near Cannelsburg, IN lived there 6 years, then sold that and bought a farm near Alferchville (?), IN 15 miles east of Washington, IN. Then the farm was divided between their sons John and Raymond. Julia and Walter separated and lived among their children. She was with Ida until Ida died, then she lived with Conerdea Armstrong Chamberlain until she died at age 92 in 1949| Walter just traveled around from place to place until he died July l5, l932.
