HE HAS BEEN CONNECTED WITH THIS FAMILY BASED ON COMMENTS OF BERTHA BROWN On the death of his wife, sent his children back to Scotland from the US to be raised by an uncle - according to Bertha Brown. There were three Montgomery families at that time - at Netherhall, Banks and Lochfergus - according to Mrs C.B. Van Drunen Littel of "Bruachmore" Gatehouse.
