      1900 Census family lived at 21 Van Scooter St. Hurlburt lists them living at 49 Catherine St. Hornell, in 1925. Carrie's parents are listed as having been born in France, both Father & Mother. Death dates are as per Steuben Co. records from Doris Montgomery. Marriage Certificate is in the possession of Roger Stafford Montgomery, having been passed to him as eldest in family group from his siter Sandra Montgomery Aesch.

      obituary reads: Mother of Six Sons Dies:
      Mrs. Carrie A. Montgomery, 52 years old, died at one o'clock this morning at the Bethesda hospital following a very brief illness. Mrs Montgomery was practically a lofe long resident of this city and very well known particularly on the east side. Besides her husband, J. E. Montgomery , she is survived by six sons, Dudley, Daniel, Paul, Kenneth, Ernest and Theodore Montgomery, all of this city. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at three o'clock (new time) at her late home, No 49 Catherine Street and burial will be in Hope cemetary. (Hornell Evening Tribune 5/14/1920
