• Notes

  A career US Air Force officer, Ed was killed in a peace-time airplane crash in Italy. He was on his last assignment before retirement. He served in World War II and Korea and was a highly decorated pilot. Between the wars, he worked as an architect as well as having his own radio program as a singer. After Korea, he was a member of the Strategic Air Command (SAC).
