Notes - Original surname spelling in "Our Roxborough Connection..." was Irwin. However, a descendant, Diane Sue Irvin, provided documentation including a genealogy produced by Dora May Irvin, a daughter of George W. Irvin, which spelled the surname as Irvin. Based on this evidence, the surname of George W. Irvin and his descendants is being changed from Irwin on 3 Feb. 2005. JCM
